Children are a valuable part of the community at Riverside UMC!!

There are lots of ways for children to get involved this summer:

Sunday School - 9:00 & 10:30 AM

Riverside has Sunday School classes for Pre-School (3 & 4 yr. Olds) up through 5th grade at 9:00 AM and at 10:30 AM.  We are very fortunate to have excellent teachers who have been with us many years.

Children's Music Camp - 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm,  Thursdays

Does your child love to sing and dance?  Come join our children's music camp!  We explore musical games, play instruments, listen to guest musicians share their instruments, and have a story that relates a biblical truth.  This summer kids will meet Eli the woodcarver, and will learn just how special God made each one of them! Children's Vacation Bible School - August 1st through August 5th, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Kids will learn how to "shake up" their lives to become better disciples of Jesus, through drama, music, games, and science / discovery! 

 

 

 

Children in Worship

In addition to these activities children are welcome at at our two worship Sunday services.  For your convenience, there is a cry room in the back of the sanctuary (for the 9:00 AM service) as well as rocking chairs in the back of the Fellowship Hall (for the 10:30 service).

Nursery (for both worship services on Sunday morning)

Our fully staffed nursery will provide excellent childcare for your children 4 years of age and younger during the two services.  Children are cared for by paid staff, assisted by trained volunteers in a safe, clean, fun, dedicated nursery. A paging system is provided for additional safety, comfort and security.
